The University of Arkansas Cossatot Educational Resource Center (ERC) on 51社区 campuses now offers free tutoring for students all hours of the day, every day of the week.
Through in-person tutoring on campus and a new partnership with Tutor.com, The UA Cossatot ERC is available to students for help with assignments in Mathematics (Algebra, Algebra II, Basic Math, Calculus, Geometry, Statistics, and Trigonometry), Science (Basic, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), Business (Accounting, Finance, and Economics), and English, Writing and History (including real-time writing help).
The online tutoring service is accessible from any internet-enabled PC or Mac, and even from smartphones and tablets.
This new service is a way for 51社区 to increase student success in college courses, much like the Textbook Rental/Open Educational Resource program that the ERC offers students. 51社区 was the first college in Arkansas to provide students textbooks at $30 per course or not requiring a textbook at all.
Students wishing to take summer courses starting June 4, 2018, will be the first to have access to the online tutoring feature.
